~ This roleplay forum is semi-literate to literate, mature, and OC friendly ~
This roleplay is set in The Walking Dead *COMICS* universe, as of the compendium #24.
You cannot join this site if you are under the age of 14. Really, you shouldn't even be reading the comics at that age. If you really want to join, save it as a bookmark, and come back to us when you are 14 or older.
For in character, we will be trying to avoid one-liners so there will be a character limit of 100 words for replies. Starter threads should probably be a little longer.
OUT OF CHARACTER RULES
1. Be respectful. This should go without saying, but be nice to other people and keep it civil.
2. No chatspeak on the forum. Preferably none in the chatbox either.
3. Do not private message people advertising. That will only be allowed on the advertisement board, that will eventually exist.
4. When you make your profile and either audition or create an OC that has to be accepted by a member of the staff, please change your account name to the character you now play.

CHARACTER CREATION RULES
Although this isn't a rule, since I just started this forum and it'd be nice to get it started ASAP, I would very much prefer if you audition for an already existing character instead of making an OC.

5. Nothing unrealistic. You cannot have things like purple eyes, magical powers, a tail, catgirl ears, etc. More realistic things would be stuff such as: having one arm, missing fingers, a disfigured face, covered in tattoos, piercings, etc.
6. You cannot have a very overpowered character, for example: they cannot have been able to survive the entire apocalypse alone, especially since at this point it has been more than two years since it has started.
7. Your character must have flaws, you can't be a completely levelheaded person who never does anything wrong or gets anybody angry. That isn't realistic, and it goes back to rule #1. Basically, no mary sues. Try and make your character as well rounded as possible, and don't be afraid to ask for help in this aspect!

GENERAL ROLEPLAY RULES
ONE ACCOUNT PER CHARACTER
This is mainly just to avoid confusion of who you are and who you are roleplaying.

8. No godmodding/powerplaying. Your character doesn't have superpowers, and they aren't going to win in every fight. Don't roleplay anyone else's characters unless you have explicit permission from the other player.
9. There is a limit of having only one canon main character to yourself. You can have one main canon character, and you are allowed to also play up to 3 canon side characters. There are also no thread limits, again, participate in as many threads as you think you can handle.
10. Please have ten posts for your character before creating/auditioning for another character. This makes sure you are being active with all of your characters, and so you don't take on too many characters and then realize you have to much on your plate.

All of these rules are fairly simple, and there are only ten of them. Please do your best to adhere to all of these rules which will make yours and everyone else's roleplay experience enjoyable.
